Down the ages, man has evolved from a cave-dweller to a space-traveller. Yet, the vital issues of hunger, disease and violence, induced by social inequity, still plague lives across the globe. We are faced with growing inequalities that threaten peace and existence. Our concern therefore should be to foster equity, understanding and harmony through education.
